Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1934, Bill Cobbs began his career in the theater, making his film debut in 1974 with a small part in “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three”. In the following years, she landed roles in several TV series such as “Silkwood” and “Good Times.” His success then came in the 1980s with roles in “The Cotton Club,” “The Color of Money,” “The Equalizer” and “Sesame Street.” In 1992, he appeared in the film “Bodyguard” with Kevin Costner, and in 1996 in “Ghosts of Mississippi”.
