Chihuahua, Chih.- In response to the demonstrations undertaken by ambulance operators from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), the representation of said institution stated that each of the situations raised will be analyzed.
Today a meeting was held between the workers’ representation and a delegation of authorities from the Administrative and Personnel Services headquarters.
At this meeting, a respectful dialogue was established in which the authorities committed to review each of the cases presented in accordance with the IMSS Collective Labor Contract.
However, in the demonstration that at least 30 people held today from the Glorieta to Pancho Villa to the delegation in the city of Chihuahua, they demanded the dismissal of Ana Vega, head of General Services.
The demands of the operators who toured Universidad Av. are the payment of commissions established by clause 100 of the collective contract and the payment of travel expenses for transfers.
Ambulance operators from Cuauhtémoc, Casas Grandes, Delicias, Parral, Juárez and Chihuahua, among others, were present at the demonstration.
