Scientists from Umm Al-Qura University in Mecca and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif praised Saudi Arabia’s success in organizing the Hajj season, as the Kingdom made all sectors, ministries and bodies available to work on the comfort and service of the guests of God.
The professor at Umm Al-Qura University, who specializes in the Prophet’s biography, Dr. Ayman Abdul Karim, said that the world witnessed the success of the plan to take the pilgrims to Arafat, send them to Muzdalifah, move to Mina and then Tawaf Al-Ifadah, and the accompanying health and security services, transportation, subsistence, and other logistical arrangements that are difficult to enumerate. He stressed that the services are at the highest level and reach the level of luxury.
Abdul Karim pointed out, in a statement to Al-Ittihad, that everyone stood at one level, in a very limited spatial area, and at the same time, governed by an integrated and organized government work system.
He praised the success of the relevant agencies in managing and organizing crowds, as we have not heard of traffic accidents or epidemic cases, but rather a disease-free Hajj season, in addition to the frequent movement of buses equipped with the best comfort and safety facilities, and the operation of the Emotional Train, which constitutes an artificial intelligence work system in managing schedules. Its flights depart smoothly and without overcrowding or congestion.
Abdul Karim praised the security work system provided by the Ministry of Interior at the highest levels, and trained personnel to control security and take into account the humanitarian and health aspects and cultural differences of the pilgrims, with the presence of surveillance cameras covering every inch of the lands of the holy places in Mecca and Medina, and the use of satellites that monitor every movement on the ground, to preserve Security and providing security, safety and reassurance for pilgrims.
Abdul Karim said that the success achieved in the Hajj season this year comes as a result of the efforts given by the Kingdom’s government of great interest and guidance to harness all material and human capabilities and scientific technologies in various services, which resulted in enabling all pilgrims to perform their rituals safely and securely.
For his part, the former Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Al-Azhar University, Dr. Saif Rajab Qazamel, praised the success of this year’s Hajj, which was clearly evident in the large number of nearly two million pilgrims who stood to meet Arafat.
Qazamel told Al-Ittihad that the Saudi authorities, represented by the Ministries of Hajj and Umrah, the Interior, Health, and the rest of the sectors, provided facilities, services, and a great effort to pilgrims from all over the world, to perform the rituals through decisive decisions and obligatory permits, and to impose restrictions on violators, which led to… Organization and success of the ritual.
He pointed out that performing the rituals has become easier and more organized for pilgrims, noting that the Kingdom has used all means of comfort and technology in order to complete the rituals without problems and crowding, and has provided organizing teams to follow up on the progress of the flow of pilgrims to the Holy House of God and Arafat, and has also provided them with means of rapid intervention to resolve the issue.
