Blizzard released a new Overwatch 2 video dedicated to season 11, called Super Mega Ultrawatch, in which the total number of players who have passed through the two chapters that make up the series is also revealed: more than 100 million.
Not bad really, considering too all the controversies the series has been involved in During the years. Of course it must be considered that we are talking about what is currently free-to-play (the original was published with a premium price), but the compliments are worth the same.
Super heroes
The trailer itself also shows some of the main contents of season 11, dedicated to super heroes. So we have themed skins, like the one that transforms Genji Shimada into Ultrawatch Genji, or the one that transforms Cole Cassidy into Ultrawatch Cassidy or the one of Vivian Chase that turns her into Ultrawatch Sojourn. Ana Amari also has her own themed skin, which transforms her into Ultrawatch Ana, not to mention Hammond becomes Ultrawatch Wrecking Ball.
In short, the world of Overwatch 2 will be filled with super heroes. When? But on June 20th, when the relevant update will be made available to everyone. Of course there will also be super villains, like Calamity Empress Ashe, and there will be returns, like the cute Pink Mercy. The video gives an overview of the new skins and new content, also showing some of the new weapons and details of the maps that have been modified for the occasion. In short, there is really a lot at stake.
Before leaving you, we remind you that Overwatch 2 is available for PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series
