In Ukraine, household consumers will be disconnected from lines supplying critical facilities
In Ukraine, household consumers will be disconnected from lines supplying critical facilities as part of the inventory. This was announced by the head of State Energy Supervision Ruslan Slobodyan, he was quoted by the TV channel TSN.
“This will help ensure the principle of fair and equal distribution of electricity within limits among consumers that are not included in the list of critical facilities,” he said.
Slobodyan added that in cities more outages occur among residential consumers. According to him, the inventory should relieve pressure on power lines. At the same time, he clarified that consumers who fall under the hourly outage schedules can be connected to other lines.
Earlier, the British newspaper Financial Times reported that Ukraine had lost more than half of its electricity generating capacity. In response, the republican authorities accused the publication of working for Russia, calling some of the facts presented a lie and questioning the references to anonymous sources in the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers.
