In the UK, a female assassin failed her mission because her gun jammed
A female hitwoman pretended to be an American tourist in the UK for a mission, but failed due to her gun jamming and escaped. About it reports Daily Mail.
Aimee Betro, 44, was tasked with eliminating clothing boutique owner Sikander Ali and his father Aslat Mahamoud. The masterminds of the crime were Mohammed Aslam and his son Mohammed Nazir, who decided to take revenge on Iskander’s family. In the summer of 2018, they quarreled with them and even got into a fight, during which they were injured.
For the assignment, Betro traveled to the UK in August 2019, pretending she was just traveling. To avoid suspicion, the woman published many photos and videos from her vacation on social networks.
On September 8, Betro wore a hijab as a disguise and tracked down her first victim, Sikander, in a car. When the man stopped, the woman came close to his car and pointed a gun at him. She then pulled the trigger, but the weapon jammed. Sikander took advantage of the delay and left.

The next morning, Betro found herself at the house of Mahamoud and Sikander, fired three shots and wrote to Mahamoud: “You want to rob me, you want to become a drug lord. Better go look at your house. I’ll show you. Be careful. Blood will soon be shed.” Despite the threats, the woman failed to complete the order. Two days later she returned to the United States and went on the run.
The police found Betro’s customers, starting an investigation into the shooting near Mahamud’s house. Father and son were arrested. On June 5, they were found guilty of conspiring to kill two people. Betro has still not been found.
Earlier it was reported that in the United States, a former Microsoft employee tried to hire a killer for bitcoins. Potential victims were the biological parents of the customer’s adopted children, who tried to take them away from him.
