“The role of the influencer dermatologist is in the border area between the medical profession and personal advice on what is cosmetic. At the moment we can never say on the web the commercial name of products that we consider effective”, so “the social user goes to look for other types of figures, less competent to give this advice”. This was stated by Luciano Galotta, influencer dermatologist (@magistudimedici) guest at the ‘Code of Ethics and Social Media’ symposium which was held in Riccione during the Aida Congress (Italian Association of Outpatient Dermatologists).
