The everyday life of the little Pallas’ cats that live in the Novosibirsk Zoo was captured on video. The corresponding publication appeared in Telegram– the institution’s channel with 17 thousand subscribers.
Two female Pallas cats gave birth in April: one gave birth to five and the other seven kittens. When the babies were one month old, they began to carefully walk around the enclosure for the first time. “Mom is with them all the time: she protects them, makes sure that nothing scares them, and takes them to shelter at the slightest concern. The kittens are still small and vulnerable, and maternal behavior is absolutely justified,” zoologist Yulia Konovalova said about the video.

According to the specialist, zoo workers try not to make noise near the enclosures where Pallas’ cats with kittens are located. “We also urge visitors to take care of the peace of mothers and babies,” the interlocutor concluded.
It is known that Pallas cat kittens were born in the Novosibirsk Zoo in 1995. Since then, Pallas’ cats have regularly given birth to offspring. To preserve the offspring of Pallas’s cats, the zoo has developed strict rules for vaccination of young animals, veterinary support, feeding, cleaning enclosures and all other actions of staff.
Earlier in May, a ferret-stylist was shown at the Inhabited Island Zoo in Novosibirsk. As noted in the source, the beast named Peach grabbed a towel after a contrast shower and began to dry himself, but did not do it mechanically, but like an experienced beauty salon master.
