Massacre in Papua New Guinea, an entire village is overwhelmed by a landslide
It is estimated that at least 670 people have lost their lives in Papua New Guinea, in the southwest Pacific, due to a huge landslide that buried a village. He makes it known the International Organization for Migrationexplaining that the budget is based on the calculations of village of Yambali and provincial officials of Enga according to which more than 150 houses were buried by the landslide.
“There are about 150 houses buried, and an estimated 670 people are dead,” said Serhan Aktoprak, an official with the U.N. immigration agency based in Port Moresby.
The landslide occurred around 3am on Friday. “We do not yet know the exact number of victims of the landslide and perhaps we will not know for some time,” said a spokesperson for the association Dear Australia. “The time at which the landslide occurred suggests that the death toll is destined to rise.”
