Kellogg’s, there is an alarm: risk of suffocation
The Ministry of Health has notified the voluntary recall by the manufacturer of the 330 gram packs of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes Cocoa with expiry date scheduled for 02/03 March 2025.
In an official statement, Kellogg Italy reported that “a small percentage of packages of this product may contain hard lumps of cereal, which will not soften when consumed with milk. This implies a low risk that these hard lumps could potentially cause damage to teeth or increase the risk of choking .”

As a precaution, it is recommended not to consume the product. The company encourages consumers to check their pantry and dispose of any packaging of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes cocoato contact consumer service via the website (Kelloggs.it) or call 800 97 60 21 for further information on the refund procedure.
The recall also affected other countries in Europe. In fact, too The Food Standard Agency of the United Kingdom published the notice in the Food Alert section, however the lots indicated and also the weight of the packages are not the same as the Italian recall.
