Barcelona continued their dominance in the Women’s Champions League by beating Lyon 2-0 in the final match played in Bilbao.
About the Spanish national team stars Fence Bonmati gave Barcelona the lead in the 63rd minute and Alexia Putellas completed the final readings in extra time.
Bonmati was awarded the Golden Ball last year as the best female player in the world. Putellas received the award in 2022.

The match was attended by 50,827 spectators at Bilbao’s San Mames stadium, a record attendance for a women’s Champions League final.
