Engineering, leader in the digitization of processes for businesses and Public Administrations, participates as a partner in the ‘Obiettivo 5’ event, the training campus for equity and inclusion of Corriere della Sera, with the 27th Hour, io Donna and Le Contemporanee, organized with Sapienza University of Rome, and scheduled at the Capitoline University today 9 March and tomorrow 10 March. The event, inspired by the fifth of the 17 goals of the UN 2030 agenda which sets ‘Gender equality and the self-determination of all women and girls’ as its goal, will offer the public, students and teachers 4 live surveys also in live streaming on courier service.it, 11 workshops, numerous debates and one-to-one sessions to discuss objectives, projects and professional choices.
During the second day of Objective 5 (Friday 10 March at 17.30), Maximo Ibarra, CEO of Engineering, will tell his professional story in the live investigation conducted by Corriere della Sera journalist Gianna Fregonara ‘Do the right thing: use your talents, find your way’ , bringing his testimony together with that of the Nobel prize for physics Giorgio Parisi, of the actress Michela Cescon, of the founder of E/O editions Sandro Ferri, of Michel Martone, full professor of Labor Law and Industrial Relations at Sapienza University of Rome , Serena Sapegno, associate professor of Italian literature, women’s and gender studies at the Sapienza University of Rome, and Luca Valdiserri, journalist for Corriere della Sera.
Also during the second day (Friday 10 March at 2 pm), Marcella Tesone, Group Talent Director of Engineering, will participate in the workshop with Michel Martone on ‘Work after the pandemic’ to talk about how the diffusion of new technologies, smart working , the growing attention to gender equality and fundamental values such as inclusion are changing the way we work.
Objective 5 will also be an opportunity for Engineering to inaugurate its own ‘Metaverse Dome’, a polycarbonate structure 6 meters high and 12 in diameter, which will be positioned in Piazzale della Minerva at the entrance to the University and which during the two days of the event will allow you to live an exclusive experience in the Metaverse. Inside the dome, wearing innovative visors, it will in fact be possible face a path in virtual reality in multiplayer, accessing various immersive environments created by the Metaverse Lab of Engineering, which will allow you to get to know the cultural heritage of the capitaland, try out innovative teaching models and experiment with new ways of sharing and entertainment.
In the ‘Metaverse Dome’ it will also be possible to admire a three-dimensional reconstruction of the Sessorio archaeological complex, created by the Archeo&Arte 3D Lab of the DigiLab Research Center of Sapienza, with which Engineering has entered into a three-year agreement. This collaboration, which marks an important expansion of the Group’s partner ecosystem, will see Engineering and DigiLab develop projects and initiatives in the field of training, for the enhancement of national and international cultural heritage and for the dissemination of values linked to European citizenship.
