The Consistory justifies it by “the repeated breaches of the company that developed the service”

In the press release published by the Consistory, there is talk of “repeated breaches of the company that developed the service.” In addition, it is highlighted that the Councilor for Sports, Álvaro Valdés, “required the company to comply with its contractual obligations, which led to several warnings and their subsequent penalty in mid-September.”
The firm had the obligation to carry out the cleaning tasks of the Cartagonova Municipal Stadium and the Palacio de los Deportes. LAVERDAD has been repeatedly denouncing how the dirt present in the field where the Cartagena Football Club plays its matches bothered the fans of the Albinegro club.
In the Document of Specifications of the Contracting Platform of the Public Sector it was established that the company had to keep the Cartagonova Municipal Stadium and the Palacio de los Deportes clean before, during and after the matches of the Albinegro club «including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and Night hours”. It also specified that four hours before the start of each match the field had to look clean and that it had to do so no later than 72 hours after the end of each match.
