The versions PC from Death Stranding: Director’s Cut And Shadow of the Tomb Raider have been updated to support the technology Intel XeSScomplete with early demonstration benchmarks in relation to performance.
As you know, Intel XeSS is NVIDIA’s answer to DLSS for new Intel Arc GPUs, but it also works on video cards NVIDIA And AMDwhich is why you can already appreciate the improvements provided by this feature.
As mentioned, some first were made benchmark on the impact of Intel XeSS technology. In the case of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, at the resolution of 3840 x 1600, with Ultra settings and ray tracing activated, on a Radeon RX 6800 XT you go from an average of 46 fps to 75 fps with the preset performance.
Considering that this is still the first version of this technology and that the scalers from NVIDIA and AMD have made substantial progress towards revision 2.0, there is undoubtedly great potential.
