Although Konami is remembered for series such as Metal Gear, Silent Hill and Castlevania, we must not forget that the company also owns the property of Suikoden, a saga that, for many, has offered us some of the best RPGs in history. In this way, the public rejoiced today, when it was announced that the first two titles will get an HD remaster.
That’s right, the two PlayStation classics will be back. In the framework of Tokyo Game Show, Konami announced Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, bundle that includes the 1995 and 1998 titles in one place. This collection is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime in 2023.
Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will not only allow us to enjoy these classics on modern platforms, but also includes HD background illustrations, new effects that give pixel art animation a new twist, environmental and battle audio enhancements, an autosave system, the ability to speed up battles, and a conversation log.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no more information about it. Remember, Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars Coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime in 2023. Speaking of TGS, it has been confirmed that the remake of Resident Evil 4 It’s coming to PS4. Similarly, One Piece Odyssey It already has a release date.
Editor’s note:
While I’m very excited about this release, some people are likely to be disappointed in the event that this is the big announcement that Konami had promised for Tokyo Game Show. Although there is still the possibility of hearing more Metal Gear and Silent Hill, it seems that dreams may not be fulfilled once again.
