TsKBA at the forum “Army-2022” presented a tracking system for an air swarm of drones
The Central Design Bureau of Apparatus Building (TsKBA) at the international military-technical forum “Army-2022” presented a new airspace control system (SKVP), designed to track swarms of aircraft, including small drones. This is reported TASS.
“We did, launched a swarm of 20 [летательных аппаратов]: there were planes, missiles, drones, the helicopter hovered. And everything shows directly: if the helicopter is standing still, then it is in place, if it is moving, then the arrow shows. Controls everything [в радиусе] from 400 meters to 80 kilometers,” said TsKBA representative Mikhail Masaltsev.
According to him, the system can combine up to 24 fixed radar stations, independently determine the type of aircraft and display it on the operator’s monitor. “The monitor shows: either it’s a drone hovering, or it’s an airplane, or a helicopter, or it’s a rocket flying. Everything is clearly visible in the pictures, ”said the specialist.
