The Acting Head of the Buhaira Comprehensive Police Station, Lt. Col. Muhammad Ali bin Haider, revealed that the total number of violating bikes that were seized last November amounted to 450, during the campaign that was implemented in the center’s jurisdiction, in cooperation with the Sharjah Municipality.
Bin Haider added that the seizures included 148 motorcycles, 279 violating bicycles, and 23 electric scooters.
He pointed out that the most prominent violations that were issued in cycling were driving bicycles in places and roads designated for vehicles, and the resulting serious consequences.
