The Prime Minister stressed, during the meeting, that the continued Houthi escalation and its economic war against the Yemeni people, targeting commercial ships and international navigation, and its rejection of all solutions and initiatives is a clear challenge to the UN, regional and international efforts and the popular will, reiterating support for the efforts of the UN envoy to reach a political solution, in accordance with the three compatible references. on her.
Bin Mubarak stressed that the Houthi violations against the Yemeni people, including targeting oil export facilities, draining the capabilities of the private sector, and levying taxes on civilians, cannot be accepted or tolerated, pointing out that the deterioration of living and services that the Yemenis are experiencing and the worsening of the catastrophic humanitarian situation are direct results of the Houthi war, which requires… A deterrent and firm international stance towards this.
For his part, the UN envoy reviewed the results of his recent visits and tours, and the existing concern about the continued escalation that pushes to other paths that do not help achieve the peace that the Yemeni people seek, expressing his full understanding of the results of the economic war and its effects on the Yemeni people, and his keenness to preserve the chances for peace, And continue to work to return the Houthis to the path of peace and abandon the option of war, which will not bring more crises to the Yemeni people.
Yemeni Foreign Minister Shaye Al-Zindani praised the efforts of the UN envoy and the regional and international efforts aimed at achieving peace, security and stability in the country, calling for more pressure on the Houthi group to fulfill their obligations and work seriously to resolve the crisis through a political path that leads to a just and comprehensive peace and ends the human suffering of the Yemenis, according to the references.
