Independeinte is once again having non-payment problems with a Liga MX club. The Argentine club has not paid the Xolos de Tijuana the amounts corresponding to the transfer of Facundo Ferreyra, thus, management Jorge Alberto Hank is ready to go to FIFA to raise the appropriate complaints for the non-compliance of the Avellaneda team.
Tijuana wants to know what moves to follow offered by the highest body in world football, while, once again, Independiente runs the risk of suffering serious sporting sanctions for its repeated cases of non-payment.
More news on the transfer market
Mexican soccer has long chosen not to move within the Argentine market, as this has become a risk for Liga MX clubs, especially when negotiating sales. The complex financial situation that exists in that country has meant that clubs on many occasions do not comply with payments as agreed and this has led to legal conflicts between national and Argentine teams.
The most serious and well-known case was the one experienced by América and Independiente. The club from the capital of the Mexican country negotiated the sales of Silvio Romero and Cecilio Domínguez many years ago and it was not until a few months ago, when the Avellaneda club began to pay the debt to the eagles, this after the board went with FIFA and the Argentine team was even at risk of relegation.
