The head coach Markku Kanerva on Tuesday named a 25-man squad for June’s away games against Portugal and Scotland.
For Portugal and Scotland, the matches in Finland are at the same time preparation for the EC final tournament in Germany, which starts on June 14.
Huhkajat will face Portugal in Lisbon on June 4 and Scotland in Glasgow three days later.
Walta represents the Swedish Sirius, Talvitie the Belgian Lommel and Terho the Belgian Union Saint-Gilloise at the club team level. Hungarian Puskas Academy Urho Nissilä returns to the national team after a two-year break.
The experienced national team section is represented by, among other things, the recent German champion and the Cup winner Lukas Hradeckyof Minnesota Teemu Pukki and Venice Joel Pohjanpalo.
The team has several players from the North American MLS, because in addition to Puki, DC United received an invitation Matti Peltolaof Austin Leo Vaisänen and Minnesota Robin Lod.
In a group there are no players from the domestic main league. The clubs were not obliged to let their players into the national team, as the upcoming matches are not official match days of the International Football Association Fifa.

The Football Association has not yet decided who will be the Huuhkajie’s head coach in the Nations League to be played in the fall. At Tuesday’s press conference, Kanerva was also asked about his future plans.
“I have a focus on the games in June. The contract is until the end of this year, things will definitely come back after these games. The result of the last qualifiers is sad, it left a toothache. There is motivation and a strong desire to continue. I see this as an honor,” Kanerva answered.
