On the afternoon of Saturday, April 13, six people were killed and several others were injured after a knife attack at Westfield Bondi Junction, a shopping center in Sydney (Australia). The perpetrator of the attack was killed by an Australian police officer.

In the images captured by the shopping center's security cameras you can see the man running through different locations with a large knife in his handbehind him there are several injured people lying on the ground.
“It was scary, there were small children, elderly people and others in wheelchairs,” one of the witnesses told AFP.
“I saw it all in front of me. I saw a lot of people running, the guy with the knife, and people running away,” said Ayush Singh, another of the witnesses at the time who was working in a local cafeteria when everything happened.
“It was horrible, there were people crying”Pranjul Bokaria told AFP, recounting the situation. According to the woman, while she was doing some shopping, the attack broke out. She quickly ran to a nearby store and sought refuge in a break room. Finally, she managed to escape from the place along with other customers and employees through an emergency exit.
