It is a space for the design of personalized projects and assistance for purchases or contracting services
Ikea celebrated this Tuesday the institutional inauguration of its new design and planning space in Cartagena. Under the name ‘Ikea Cartagena planning space’, it was created with the aim of “being closer to the citizens of Cartagena and becoming more and more accessible”.
Located in premises measuring 75 square meters on the first floor of the Espacio Mediterráneo Shopping Centre, the new Ikea Cartagena is the first format of these characteristics in the Region of Murcia, where the company already has, in the city of Murcia, one of its 16 large traditional stores that it has in Spain.
In the new premises, seven experts from the firm will design and plan custom projects. In addition, they will give their customers assistance to make purchases ‘online’ and contract collection, transport and assembly services. It will be open from Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ana Belén Castejón, Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, and Ainhoa Echávarri, Director of the Ikea Market in Murcia.
