Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- Municipal, military, educational and police authorities, as well as students, gathered on the esplanade of the Municipal Palace of Ahome, to perform honors and raise the flag for the 88th Anniversary of the Flag of Mexico.
The ceremony was repeated at the Monument to the Flag, where Mayor Gerardo Vargas Landeros and the military authorities burned a Flag that had completed its useful life, completing the ceremony established by the respective regulations.
Protest was also taken and the escorts of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS) and the Autonomous Indigenous University of Mexico (UAIM) were flagged.
The Oath to the Flag was in charge of the young Alejandro Aguirre.
The official message was issued by the secretary of the Ahome City Council, extolling the patriotic values and the historical evolution of the Mexican Flag, whose day began to be celebrated on February 24, 1934.
The National Anthem was sung by the Choir of the Pilar del Rocío Singing Academy.

The civic ceremony was framed by the Escort and War Band of the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of the Municipality of Ahome. There was also the presence of contingents from the National Guard, SEDENA, Naval Sector, as well as various educational institutions, which enhanced the civic event.
