Pilgrims throw the three Jamarat, starting with the small Jamarat, then the middle Jamarat, then Jamarat al-Aqaba, following and following the Holy Messenger, may the best prayers and peace be upon him. Multiple paths have been allocated to distribute the crowds on the multiple floors of the Jamarat facility to ensure the flow of pilgrims’ movement.
On the third day of Tashreeq, which falls tomorrow, Wednesday, the pilgrim also stones the three Jamarat, as he did on the previous two days, then leaves Mina for Mecca, and circumambulates the ancient House to bid farewell.
Yesterday, the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God settled in Mina on the first of the three days of Tashreeq, known as “the Day of Qar,” and it was called that because the pilgrim settles in Mina, to stone the Jamarat, starting with the smallest Jamarat, then the middle one, then the largest Jamarat.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia announced the continued arrival of pilgrims and the facilitation of their access to the Jamarat facility, as 70% of the pilgrims used the first and fourth floors, while the rest were distributed between the ground, second and third floors.
The Ministry of Hajj indicated that approximately 850,000 pilgrims have performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah so far, since midnight last night, using shuttle buses to and from the Grand Mosque through 11 stations in Mina, confirming that trips will continue to transport approximately 1.35 million pilgrims. The Ministry stated that the operations related to gifts and sacrifices were organized in accordance with the highest environmental standards, using a modern and advanced system for managing animal waste, as part of the Kingdom’s project to benefit from gifts and sacrifices, with a capacity of more than one million sacrifices and gifts.
For its part, the Secretariat of the Holy Capital intensified its work and services in Mina during the days of Tashreeq, as the Secretariat increased the number of field teams for each of its centers spread across the Holy Sites, which number 28 service centres.
The secretariat focused on its work in the Jamarat facility and its surrounding areas during the Days of Tashreeq, due to the presence of a higher human density of pilgrims in that area, by increasing the number of field teams, especially with regard to cleanliness, environmental monitoring, and waste removal directly and immediately.
For its part, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that more than 126,000 pilgrims had benefited from various health services, until the first day of Eid al-Adha.
The Ministry indicated that the health services provided to the guests of God varied between medical and specialized clinics, pharmacies, dialysis centers, intensive care rooms, and isolation units, and 21 open-heart surgeries were performed, 236 cardiac catheterizations, and 939 kidney dialysis operations, in addition to the admission of 3,058 patients. Pilgrims go to hospitals and medical centers to receive the necessary health care.
The Ministry of Health pointed out that about 5,500 health volunteers continue to provide comprehensive health care to the pilgrims throughout the Hajj period, through specialized medical teams in hospitals and health centers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, providing integrated medical services in different areas in Mina and the Jamarat Bridge.
The Ministry confirmed that the health and epidemiological condition of the pilgrims is reassuring and that no diseases affecting public health were recorded among them, indicating that the case of heat exhaustion and sunstroke amounted to 2,764 cases as a result of the high temperatures in the holy sites, exposure to the sun during its intensity from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., and failure to adhere to an umbrella. Or drink plenty of water regularly.
In addition, the Ministry of the Interior announced the successful completion of the transport operations of pilgrims on the journey of the Holy Sites, as the pilgrims returned to Mina to complete the Hajj rituals, stressing that the security forces will continue to carry out their duties to maintain the security and safety of the guests of God during their stay in Mina and perform their rituals in the Grand Mosque and the facility. Jamarat.
The Ministry called on pilgrims to continue to adhere to the instructions that regulate their movements to perform rituals during the days of Tashreeq, which include throwing stones at the Jamarat, sa’i, and circumambulating the Sacred House, by committing to organizing the departure and following the specific directions for walking on the roads that lead to the Jamarat facility and the Grand Mosque when going and returning, and not carrying. Luggage.
The Ministry of Transport and Logistics also indicated that the operational plans for the Al-Mashaer Train are proceeding according to what was planned, as it continued its operation for the fourth day by providing a convenient transportation service to the pilgrims of the Holy House of God in Arafa, Muzdalifah and Mina, and more than 100,000 passengers have benefited from this stage so far. This movement continues until sunset on the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah. In the air sector, the Ministry announced the start of the second phase of the Hajj operational plan for the departure of the guests of God through 6 designated domestic and international airports, after the success of the first phase of the plan, in addition to the expansion of the Hajj Without Bag initiative, which provides advance baggage pickup services well before the travel date. Suitable for the pilgrim to devote himself to performing the Hajj rituals, noting that this initiative served about 700,000 pilgrims.
The Ministry of Transport stressed the concerted efforts of the pilgrims’ service system, which achieved the success of their passage from Arafat to Muzdalifah, then moving to Mina to stone the Great Jamarat within 10 hours with ease and reassurance.
