More than two million rapid tests for COVID-19 for refugees from Donbass will be delivered to the Rostov region. This was stated by the Minister of Health of the region Yuri Kobzev, writes TASS.
“According to preliminary information, in the coming days, we will receive 2.1 million rapid tests,” he stressed.
Also, if necessary, residents of Donbass who arrived in the region will be vaccinated against coronavirus infection. There are more than 500 thousand doses of the drug in the warehouses of the region.
On the evening of February 18, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a working group of the Ministry of Emergency Situations headed by Acting Minister Alexander Chupriyan was sent to the Rostov Region to organize the reception of citizens of the DPR and LPR. Also head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova and specialists from the Ministry of Health went to the region. A high alert regime was introduced in the region to work on receiving evacuated residents.
