Sylvester Stallone, eternal action man, was the superhero of several generations for his incredible characters: Rambo, Rocky Balboa, Marion Cobretti and Barney Ross, among others. Several decades later, he returned to action movies and joined the superhero craze.
In his new movie “Samaritan”, the actor brings to life the super-powered vigilante of Granite City. His fans were waiting for the result, but its premiere has not achieved the expected success and the chances of seeing sequels already seem to have vanished.
What did the critics of “Samaritan” say?
At Totten Tomatoes, the tape met with approval from the audience. However, it had a very low rating of 38 out of 100 by specialized critics, according to the specialized media.
“Not even Stallone can save this movie from feeling completely empty and like the lost potential of the premise. Neither in action nor in ideas does he surprise. It is simple and flat,” the consensus ruled.
