Swedish state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell joins the WHO, says the Swedish National Agency for Public Health (FMH) in its press release.
Securing the global availability of coronary vaccines will be Tegnell’s site, FHM says. He works at WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
“I’ve been working on vaccines for 30 years and at the same time I’ve always felt a fire for international assignments,” Tegnell says.
Tegnell will resign as state epidemiologist on March 14th. His successor is called Anders Lindblom.
