The Securities and Commodities Authority announced today that the financial markets holiday on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha will begin from Saturday, June 15, until Tuesday, June 18.
The authority added in a statement today that official working hours will resume on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, noting that determining the start and end date of the vacation for the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange is up to it, according to what work requirements and the public interest require.
The Authority indicated that its decision was based on Circular issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources No. (06) of 2024, regarding the holiday of the Day of Arafah and Eid Al-Adha for the year 1445 AH, and after consultation and coordination with both the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market.
