All those who graduated obtained the certificate from the University of Helsinki in Finland. Some of them studied while they were working in the Ministry of Education. Others wanted to become male or female teachers, and we absorb this number every year. Let us develop the role of the teacher and his correct profession. Graduating this number is not only a gain for Sharjah but also for the United Arab Emirates. We bear the costs of this study because we want to advance the teacher in the Emirates and we call on the Ministry of Education to evaluate the teacher in terms of knowledge and teaching style before appointing him.”
Regarding government nurseries in the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, His Highness explained that the fees collected in these nurseries are nominal, amounting to 800 dirhams per month, in exchange for excellent services. He added: “We have built more than 33 nurseries in the Emirate of Sharjah, but the demand is increasing, and when we monitor the number of nurseries in Emirate of Sharjah We will find that we have built one nursery in the city of Kalba, which is at the required level, and we have restarted the nurseries of schools that were suspended, but these nurseries accommodate only 33 children, while the nurseries that we built can accommodate 155 children. We will add two new nurseries in Kalba, which will take a maximum of 10 months to build, so we will tell anyone who wants. Registering his child from the people of Kalba: “Wait for me at the nursery door.”
Regarding children’s food in the nursery, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi said: “We found that some parents send their children useless foods such as “bags of preserved potato chips” and other foods that could harm their health, so we say, “The child is our child and we will provide it.” “He has food” through a central kitchen in Kalba that prepares the healthy meal required for the child, appropriate for his age, and anything else that enters the nursery door will not be eaten by the child, in order to ensure the safety of the children.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah added, “We built one nursery in the city of Khor Fakkan, in addition to the nurseries that we occupied after the schools stopped them. We will add two new nurseries, one in the Al Harai area and the other near the Al Bardi area, and a central kitchen will be constructed to cook food for the children. As for the city of Dibba Al Hisn, it has a nursery.” It needs another one, which we will build, God willing.”
His Highness said: “The central region has buildings for nurseries, but some of them have nurseries that were built on a smaller size and are now full. We will only expand them, and there will be a main kitchen in Maliha that distributes food to nurseries in Al Dhaid and Madam. In the Hamriya area, there is a nursery that has not yet been filled, and 40% of its capacity is still vacant.” .. We care about the smallest details of the child in these nurseries through specialists in early education and learning, as we take care of the child’s food and sleep, so he sleeps in his nursery without disturbance, plays with enjoyment, and learns in fun, interesting, and modern ways. This stage is very important in the child’s life to establish him before entering the stages that follow, secondary school and university. …And when we improve the beginning of learning, we will have put the feet of these generations on the right path, God willing.”
