Founded in 1997, the environmental consultancy Mata Nativa BR will invest R$ 30 million in the composition of the Legal Reserve in the State of São Paulo.
The amount, raised after donating the Ribeirão da Serra Farm, in Sete Barras (SP), will be used to purchase new areas that will expand the Carlos Botelho State Park, one of the main Atlantic Forest Conservation Units in the state of São Paulo.
In exchange, the company received Legal Reserve Quotas (CRL), titles that represent the vegetation cover area of property with excess of Legal Reserve and which can be acquired by owners with deficit, to regularize the rural property.
