The hurried pilgrims of the Holy House of God performed the farewell circumambulation yesterday, the twelfth of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, amid intense preparations from the General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques to raise the readiness of the Holy Mosque, and with the participation of the relevant authorities working in Hajj to welcome the guests of God, according to the operational plans for this year’s Hajj season. All government departments and concerned authorities in Medina have completed their preparations to receive pilgrims by implementing operational plans for the post-Hajj season for all government sectors, and in coordination with relevant government agencies to work among all sectors concerned with Hajj.
In preparation for receiving the pilgrims, the Agency of the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Prophet’s Mosque raised the readiness of its religious system to activate the third operational plan for the stage after performing the Hajj rituals, and receiving the first guests of the Most Merciful in a hurry to the Prophet’s Mosque, in order to visit the Prophet’s Mosque and pray in it.
The Prophet’s Mosque Agency has prepared a package of guidance and advisory services, field awareness, scientific lessons, and religious initiatives and activities to enrich the experience of the guests of God during their visit to the Prophet’s Mosque.

The Madinah Hospitality Association, which serves pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims, announced that it has provided more than 1.7 million field services to pilgrims and visitors in many of the locations they visit during this year’s Hajj season in the city.
For its part, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance began distributing approximately 1.9 million copies of the Holy Qur’an from the publications of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, in various sizes and translations of the meanings of the words of the Holy Qur’an in more than 77 international languages, as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to pilgrims departing for their country via King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah Islamic Port, and various land and sea ports, and for Hajj workers from various government sectors.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sponsored the gift at his own expense for all the pilgrims hosted within the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Hajj, Umrah and Visitation Guests Program for this year, who numbered 3,322 male and female pilgrims from 88 countries from various continents of the world, a blessing that confirms his interest and care for his Muslim brothers and his keenness. The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced the provision of the central circumambulation service to more than one and a half million beneficiaries during the Hajj season, in a new record to enhance the work of circumambulators. With the influx of millions of pilgrims to perform the farewell circumambulation, supported by quality field services for the pilgrims.
The Presidency of Religious Affairs prepared the pilgrims in vital places and distributed them to them. They receive pilgrims who wish to perform the Tawaf service during the Farewell Tawaf, and accompany them to guide them in performing them in accordance with Sharia requirements.
For his part, Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel announced the success of the health plans for this year’s Hajj season, and that it is free of any epidemics, outbreaks or threats to public health, despite the large numbers of pilgrims this year and the challenges related to high temperatures.
The Minister of Health indicated that the health system has equipped 189 hospitals, health centers and mobile clinics, with a bed capacity of more than 6,500 beds, with medical, technical and administrative staff and volunteers exceeding 40,000, and ambulances of more than 370 cars, 7 ambulance aircraft, 12 laboratories and 60 trucks, to provide more than 1,860 ambulances. A medical item, and in a qualitative step, 3 mobile medical warehouses distributed in the holy sites.
The Ministry of Health stated that the number of pilgrims who received health services reached more than 390,000 pilgrims, and more than 28 open heart surgeries were performed, more than 720 cardiac catheterizations, in addition to more than 1,169 dialysis sessions, and virtual services were provided through the Seha Virtual Hospital for more than 1,169 dialysis sessions. Of 5,800 pilgrims, directly dealing with cases of heat stress and providing them with the necessary medical services.
For its part, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics announced ensuring preparations for the second stage of the pilgrims’ departure from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, and providing the best services to the guests of God after they complete the Hajj, to facilitate their arrival to their countries in peace and reassurance.
The Ministry allocated 3.4 million seats on its flights for pilgrims to the Holy House of God, through approximately 7,000 flights during the arrival and departure stages at 6 major airports prepared to serve the guests of God, at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Airport in Medina, and Taif International Airport, Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Prince Abdul Mohsen International Airport in Yanbu and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.
The General Directorate of Passports confirmed its readiness to complete the procedures for the departure of the guests of God, at the Kingdom’s various international ports of entry, air, land and sea, and to facilitate their travel, after God granted them the grace to perform the Hajj rituals.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced its keenness to implement a comprehensive national initiative this year to enable people with special needs and the elderly to perform Hajj rituals, according to the highest standards of infrastructure and prepared with the concept of comprehensive access, including private means of transportation, a traffic plan and paths designated for throwing stones. In cooperation with the relevant authorities to perform the rituals and meet their needs with ease and ease.
For its part, the Authority for the Care of Persons with Special Needs highlighted the services provided to them and disabled elderly people, as it works to ensure that they obtain all services to perform their Hajj easily, by monitoring means of transport and communication, to ensure their access to all holy places, and to complete their rituals in the Grand Mosque, and to use Electric vehicles, access to the Holy Quran written in Braille, translation of religious lessons, and health services.
Religious and media leaders praised Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, at the end of the Hajj season, for the success of the organization, thanks to the efforts of the Kingdom and the solidarity of all ministries, agencies and sectors to work on the service, comfort and safety of the guests of God, and the use of the latest technological applications and technologies in means of transportation and all facilities and services provided to pilgrims.
The official spokesman for Al-Azhar University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Zare’, said: Every year during the Hajj season, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amazes us with the new services it provides during the Hajj season, and seeks to provide everything that makes it easier for the guests of God to perform their rituals with comfort, reassurance and peace, stressing that it is in the Hajj season. This year we saw wonderful examples of these things that really benefit pilgrims.
Dr. Zaree added to Al-Ittihad: “I heard, saw, and followed what was presented to the pilgrims this year, with the presence of a very large and large number of security personnel and volunteers, whose number reached more than 100,000 human cadres, working to organize the Hajj.”
Zarei praised the health services and medical aid provided to the pilgrims of the Holy House of God, in light of the extremely high weather temperature this year, and the keenness of the Ministry of Health and all health sectors on the safety of pilgrims and providing medical care to them, describing these services as unprecedented before, especially after the introduction of means of New in the Holy Feelings, stressing that it has brought great relief to people, especially the sick and the elderly.
Zaree pointed out that this year the Kingdom used modern technologies to a greater extent, especially in means of transportation in the “Mashaer Train” and the “Flying Taxi,” which confirms that the Kingdom’s leaders, the government and the people of Saudi Arabia deserve to be qualified to serve the House of God and His sanctuary.
The official spokesman said: “The presence of huge and very large numbers of pilgrims, exceeding 2 million male and female pilgrims, in a specific place, accommodating all these numbers, coordinating their entry, exit and ascension, performing the rituals with all these comforts, and taking care of all their affairs of food, drink, medicine and transportation; “It confirms the precision of the organization and the tremendous effort that was provided to these pilgrims.”

His Eminence the Grand Imam Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve the guests of the Most Gracious and facilitate them, and its keenness to provide all capabilities to perform the Hajj rituals in an atmosphere of unity, harmony and reassurance, calling on the Lord – the Almighty – to preserve the Kingdom and all other countries. The former Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Dawa at Al-Azhar University, Dr. Gamal Farouk, praised the success of the Kingdom’s organization of the Hajj season, stressing that this year’s season witnessed continuous efforts, praiseworthy endeavors, and development in services, and the holy sites and honorable deprivations have become managed with advanced performance.
