Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova in an interview with “Ukrainian Pravda” for the first time commented on the case of the supply of coal from Donbass, the defendants of which are the head of the political council of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, Viktor Medvedchuk, and the former president of the country, Petro Poroshenko. According to her, it became the loudest in 2020.
“Skeptics thought this dragon was too tough for us. The law is the same for everyone, and no amount of nepotism will stop him, ”the Prosecutor General emphasized, speaking of charges against Medvedchuk of treason, attempted looting of state values and assistance to the activities of terrorist organizations.
