San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.- The traditional procession of the “San Jocesitos” resumes this Friday in the city of San Miguel de Allende, and after two years of absence, the faithful will be able to take to the streets of the Historical Center to express their faith.
At four in the afternoon, the meeting point will be at the Cultural Center Santa Maria del Obrajefrom there people will go to Calzada de la Presa, Núñez, Mesones, Pepe Llanos, to finish at the Temple of the San Felipe Neri Oratory.
The procession will be headed by the image of the Holy Family, which is located in the Chapel of San José in the Barrio del Obraje, followed by “Los San Josecitos” and at the end of the walk the image of Señor San José from the Temple of the Oratory San Felipe Neri.
The procession will be enlivened by various groups of dancers and a music band.
The pandemic affected this tradition that already has more than 90 years of existence in the region and today the activity is resumed for the faithful, who will finally be able to fulfill their mandates or thank the Holy Saint Jude Thaddeusconsidered by the Catholic religion as one of the most miraculous.
They are expected to be more than 40 images those who arrive at the temple. Visitors come from different communities.

The mass will be held at seven p.m and during the night the images of the San Jocesitos remain inside the Oratory, and at dawn they will return to the communities so that they can be offered prayer and celebration.
