Age-free: The Rocks E from Opel can be driven by fifteen-year-olds as long as they have an AM driver’s license.

With the Rocks E, Opel wants to stir up city streets and inspire young drivers. The 45 km/h tiny shows charm and frugality. But if you are looking for comfort, be warned.
Dno one can be angry with this cute little thing. As well as? The little Opel has a rebellious name as Rocks E and a few jagged contours in the plastic shell, but it still remains a rolling child scheme. Headlights like beady eyes, almost as tall as they are wide, a front like a Persian cat and a turning circle like a lizard. Wheels, exterior mirrors, rear – everything is, and there is no other way to put it, extremely cute, funny, different.
The designers must have had something in mind. For example, turning this vehicle into a figurehead to protect it and its drivers from resentment. Why? Because it could also be described as something else: “It’s a traffic obstacle,” echoes everyone as soon as the editors report on the new test vehicle. The suspicion is not unfounded. The Opel Rocks E, while looking like a toy version of it, is not a car. It is classified as a light vehicle. In this respect, it actually has to assert itself in competition with scooters and cargo bikes, which it does not have airbags, but at least has a certain degree of weather resistance. Drivers must be at least 15 years old and have an AM driving license. The only limit is a maximum of 45 km/h.
