Oil prices fell in early Asian trading on Wednesday after the American Petroleum Institute reported a surprise jump in U.S. inventories.
By 0023 GMT, Brent crude futures fell 19 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $84.82 per barrel. US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 11 cents, or 0.1 percent, to $80.72 per barrel.
