Nvidia said on Wednesday that it has agreed to acquire Run:ai, a Tel-Aviv-based provider of artificial intelligence computing workload management software. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Run:ai's website states that its software is designed to improve the efficiency of workloads running on graphics processing units (GPU).
The company claims its software enables ten times more workloads to run on the same infrastructure.
Nvidia said its customers “can expect to benefit from better GPU utilization, better GPU infrastructure management, and greater flexibility.” Source: Dow Jones Newswires
