New developments in the case of the Egyptian artist Rashwan Tawfik and his daughter, who filed several lawsuits against her father, sparked controversy in the Egyptian street.
Today, Saturday, the South Cairo Court decided to book a lawsuit demanding the daughter of artist Rashwan Tawfiq to cancel the two powers of attorney issued by her to her father for the January 25 session of the ruling, in which she demands the invalidity of a contract to sell a villa in the Sixth of October City, worth 5 million pounds, to her media sister, Heba Rashwan.
Earlier, the court also postponed Aya Rashwan Tawfiq’s lawsuit against her father, artist Rashwan Tawfiq, her sister Heba Allah Rashwan, and her niece Omaima Tawfiq Rashwan to the January 24 session for information, which regarding the invalidity of the contract for the division of chalets inherited from her mother in South Sinai Governorate.
Aya Rashwan had filed several lawsuits against her father, the first of which was a lawsuit demanding the invalidity of the contract to sell artist Rashwan Tawfiq, a villa in the Sixth of October City, at a value of 5 million pounds, to his other daughter, Heba Rashwan, under the general power of attorney issued by her without her knowledge.
This is not the only lawsuit, but there are two lawsuits against her father, one of which demands the cancellation of two powers of attorney issued by her to him, and the other demanding that she nullify the contract of dividing chalets inherited from her mother in South Sinai Governorate.
The 88-year-old artist, Rashwan Tawfiq, had expressed his dissatisfaction with the incident, describing it as the greatest tragedy in his life, and considered the issues as an attempt to control his money during his life.
The great artist, Rashwan Tawfiq, lives in a bad psychological state due to the judicial conflict between him and his daughter, as he confirmed that he is upset that the matter has reached this point, and that he does not seek judgments, as much as he is keen for his daughter to return to his embrace again.
In a related context, the Egyptian artist, Rashwan Tawfik, announced, a few days ago, that he had contracted the new Corona virus, for the second time in 5 months.
