Recalled Neutro Roberts body wash: 3 batches contain a genotoxic substance
Snap one new alert for cosmetics and personal hygiene products for the presence of Lilial (labelled Buthylfenil Methylpropional or BMHCA), a substance now banned in Europe. Rapex, the European rapid alert system, has in fact reported in recent days some known batches of bubble bath, such as the shower gel Neutral Roberts Creamy with moisturizing milk and shea butter. This is revealed by the online site GreenMe which specifies that the recalled lots are specifically three: 08981, 10911 and 16991 with barcode 800241009651. Lilial is a dangerous substance because it could cause damage to the reproductive system, damage the health of fetuses and cause skin sensitization. However, despite the various alarms, the situation, as he underlines GreenMe, still looks very confusing: not all producers have adapted well to the new legislation, despite the fact that some time has passed (the ban has been in force since March 2022 but companies had the option to sell inventories until March 1, 2023).
