Mansour Al Hashemi, Chairman of the Al Ain Sports Club Company’s management committee, confirmed the readiness of the Khalifa Stadium hall in Al Ain Club to host the His Highness the President of the State Karate Cup, June 8, and said: “All arrangements will be at the highest possible level, and in full coordination with the Karate Federation, which has been assigned to us.” This mission is an opportunity to see the game of karate return again, starting from the house of the “leader” Al-Ainawi as it was in previous years.”
Mansour Al Hashemi said: “Without a doubt, the return of the game again to the club’s embrace will be a good opportunity for the emergence of new names shining in the sky of the game as it was in the past, and participating in the Cup of His Highness the President of the State, whether by organizing the event, or by participating for the first time in the competitions, will make fans of the game They come back and come back to play the game in light of the availability of capabilities and everyone’s desire to practice sporting activity in an ideal atmosphere.”
Mansour Al Hashemi thanked the Karate Federation, headed by Major General Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Razouqi, President of the Emirati and Asian Federations, Vice President of the International Federation, for his confidence in Al Ain hosting this event that is dear to all of us.
Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, member of the Board of Directors of the Karate Federation and Chairman of the Competitions Committee, announced that Al Ain will participate for the first time with two teams, the same number as Shabab Al Ahli Clubs, Dubai Police, Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club, Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation and Oriental Karate Center, while the Sharjah Clubs will participate. Al Dhaid has 4 teams, especially since the tournament will be held in 4 categories for men and women in kata and kumite.
Ibrahim Al Nuaimi said: “The draw for the tournament was held with the participation of 91 male and female players representing 30 teams for 8 clubs, and the competitions will begin from ten in the morning on June 8, until five in the evening on the same day.”
