High Class Racing will race in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship throughout the 2022 season.
The Danish team has in fact entered its Oreca 07-Gibson LMP2 in the US series, with which it had already taken part in the 24h of Daytona this year, in addition to the commitment in the FIA WEC.
Leading the car will be the original drivers Anders Fjordbach and Dennis Andersen, assisted by a third competitor still to be defined.
“I am thrilled to be able to announce the commitment to IMSA for the whole of 2022 – said Fjordbach – At Daytona we did very well and we did not expect it, but it was immediately love with this series”.
“We have three years of experience with the Oreca 07-Gibson and we are ready to show its potential already in the next edition of the race in Florida in January”.
Andersen added: “I had a great time at Daytona this year and we have been working on the possibility of undertaking a full program at IMSA ever since.”
“It’s a championship full of fans, not only in the United States, but all over the world. I can’t wait to start this new challenge!”
