The accused knocked out the bars in the cell of pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Rostov and took hostages
In Rostov-on-Don, six defendants held in pre-trial detention center No. 1 in the Rostov region took two employees of the regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service hostage. Negotiations are currently underway with them.
A group of employees from the central office of the Federal Penitentiary Service was sent to the city. The head of the department, law enforcement officers and prosecutors are at the scene. “The institution is functioning normally, the situation is controlled,” – stated in the GUFSIN for the Rostov region.

A video from the scene of the incident was also published. It shows the invaders and two employees. One of the men has a knife in his hands, the other has a camera. In addition to the FSIN employees, six people are visible in the video. Those arrested say they belong to a terrorist organization.

Akiev Shamil (27 years old), Gireev Tamerlan (36 years old), Tsitskiev Azamat (25 years old) were convicted under several terrorist articles: “Organizing the activities of a terrorist organization and participating in the activities of such an organization”, “Completing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities”, “ Illegal production of explosives”, “Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage of explosive devices”, “Promotion of terrorist activities”, “Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, forwarding or carrying of weapons”.
