Newsweek: Harris trails Trump in first polls since Biden dropped out
US Vice President Kamala Harris is losing to former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump in the first polls after President Joe Biden withdrew his candidacy from the election. This is reports Newsweek edition.
51 percent of respondents said they would vote for Trump, while 43 percent would choose Harris.
On July 21, current White House President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the race, endorsing the candidacy of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Afterwards, Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert demanded proof that Biden was alive, as she suspected that his death was being covered up. She called his silence unacceptable. The American leader had not appeared in public for two days, which alarmed the public.
