After the official announcement of a new chapter of Grand Theft Auto, the well-known Bloomberg journalist and industry insider had his say on the possible release date of GTA 6stating that he would not be surprised at a “false advertisement”.
Precisely, Jason Schreier wrote, via Twitter: “I wouldn’t be surprised to see GTA 6 announced later this year with a fake release date set for” Fall 2023 “which would then be pushed to 2024.”
Schreier, in a nutshell, believes that Rockstar and Take-Two are now ready to say something about the new game by Grand Theft Autobut also believes that the strategy of the two companies is to start attracting the attention of the public, even though they know they cannot offer the game quickly.
We also remember that technically the name of this new game: “GTA 6” is not officially the next chapter in the saga, which is defined only as “new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series”.
Additionally, Schreier recently said that many of these written announcements, external to events or shows, are primarily aimed at attracting the attention of new employees. It is possible that even in this case Rockstar wants to attract the attention of new developers for the creation of GTA 6.
