The state official stated that, as an example, workers who daily earn 200 pesos will receive 600 pesos by Monday, February 7.
He added that companies that fail to comply with this provision may be entitled to a penalty that ranges from 4,840 to 24,200 pesos.
“This is the sanction they can receive for not paying this benefit to workers in a timely manner.”
