A statement issued by the Hamas media office said, “More than 140 martyrs and hundreds were injured on this night in which the occupation committed a war of genocide and massacres, during which it destroyed dozens of homes with missiles and bombs on top of defenseless civilians.”
The Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” had previously reported that dozens of Palestinians, including children, had been killed, and dozens wounded, some of whom were described as critical and serious, in Israeli raids by Israeli warplanes that targeted, at dawn on Tuesday, homes in the Khan Yunis camp, the Al-Qarara area, and in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, in Jabalia al-Balad, north of Gaza, next to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, and in the Bureij refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported that 23 Palestinians, including children, were killed, and at least more than 45 were injured with various and serious injuries. They were taken to Nasser Hospital, as a result of the Israeli raids that targeted many citizens’ homes and a gas station in the center and east of Khan Yunis.
More than 30 citizens were also killed and dozens injured in a similar Israeli bombing that targeted many inhabited citizen homes in the Rafah Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip, according to Wafa.
The agency confirmed that the death toll of Palestinians had risen to more than 5,087, and that more than 15,273 citizens were injured with various injuries, the majority of whom were children, women and the elderly. About 1,500 citizens were still under the rubble of bombed homes, including 630 children.
