Al-Haddad praised and thanked the Republic of Egypt for hosting this meeting, wishing that the next meeting would be in any city in Libya.
He stressed that the military institution supports the aspirations of the Libyan people to establish a civil state through the peaceful transfer of power.
He also called on everyone to be one hand, for the sake of Libya and its security, and to protect its borders, lands and sovereignty, stressing the importance of the return of the displaced and the inclusion of everyone to heal the rift.
For his part, Al-Nadori delivered a speech in which he stressed the need to unify the military institution, expel mercenaries, and integrate armed groups according to their desire into the state’s military, security and civil institutions, in order to establish a civil state in which no one is excluded.
In turn, the conferees stressed the sanctity of Libyan blood and the non-return to fighting, and that the army’s mission is to protect the homeland, the citizen and the constitution, and not to politicize the military institution, and to support efforts to establish a civil state and unify the military institution to build a strong army away from all political disputes through the formation of joint committees for this purpose.
