This comes in the wake of a number of reports received by the Eastern Region Police Department, stating that several construction sites in the city of Khor Fakkan were robbed by unknown persons.
In light of the reports received, a security team was formed to search and investigate with the aim of revealing the perpetrators of these thefts, and by collecting information about the stolen sites and the criminal method used in committing these thefts, the team reached the data that led to the detection of the crime after one of the guards noticed the presence of a group Of the people inside the construction site that he supervises guarding trying to damage one of the electrical cables, and in turn, he reported the incident and thwarted their plans, which made the perpetrators flee, leaving behind the crime instrument, and the security services were standing by.

With the efforts of the criminal investigation men, it was found that they were involved in similar theft cases and that there were other gangs that were stealing in the same criminal manner, and in light of the available data, the team was able to arrest five other people after preparing an ambush for them, and during the investigation it was found that they are part of a network specialized in cable theft. And electrical wires from sites under construction, and when confronted with the charges against them, they all confessed, revealing their roles in their criminal operations, in addition to the places they use to hide stolen items. Based on their confessions, they were arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution.
