“Enjoying a lot.” That has been the summary, written in Spanish and accompanied by flag emoticons, with which the British singer Dua Lipa has described her time in Spain. The artist has shared on her Instagram account a series of photographs that show different moments of her recent visits to Madrid and Barcelona, in which her interests are well appreciated: gastronomy, art and music. An image of Dua Lipa along with the director, Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore, actresses who will star in the Manchego's next film, had already come to light, shared by Agustín Almodóvar, brother and partner of the filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar, Next room. They all met for dinner at BiBo, the restaurant of Andalusian chef Dani García located on Paseo de la Castellana. It has not been the only fashionable place that the London singer has been seen during her stay in Madrid: as she has revealed with her photographs, another of the restaurants she went to those days was Sala de Despiece, located quite close to BiBo, in the central Chamberí neighborhood.
Sala de Despiece is one of the places that promoted the Ponzano area as a gastronomic destination and on her visit the British opted for the seafood. Although this establishment, created by Javier Bonet, stands out for the modern facilities and presentations, Dua Lipa also showed that she enjoys the more traditional proposals. For this reason, during the days she spent in Madrid she did not want to miss one of the traditions that locals and visitors have enjoyed in the city since 1894: making a stop at the San Ginés chocolate shop, next to Puerta del Sol. The singer shared a fun image , with a surprised expression and a bag from the churrería, while walking through the streets of the city center like just another tourist.
Because Dua Lipa and her partner, actor Callum Turner (The Masters of the Air, Fantastic Beasts), did not hide during their stay in Madrid, and were photographed by their admirers while they walked through the streets of Madrid. Their getaways together are becoming more and more frequent: at the end of March they took advantage of a professional engagement of the singer in Paris with YSL Beauty – a brand for whose fragrance Libre has been an international ambassador since 2019 and of which, in addition, this year she has begun to be the image world of the makeup division—to have a romantic dinner in a bistro next to the Place des Vosges. On that trip Dua Lipa wore a long black leather coat style Matrix from which he has not separated to travel to Spain. In one of the photos she has shared she shows it combined with a Chanel body with front slits and the logo of the house French, to configure a night out style, very different from the one shown in another of the images, with an undershirt that peeks out under a zippered sweatshirt promoting her new single, Illusion. This jacket is not yet for sale in your Web pagewhere you can buy t-shirts of the merchandising promotional of his next album, Radical Optimism.
But the singer has not only shared images of her looks and its gastronomic routes, but has shown one of the works of art that he has seen during his stay, The blue gold, a canvas created by Joan Miró in 1967 that is part of the collection of the Joan Miró Foundation from Barcelona. Precisely, this city has become the absolute protagonist of Dua Lipa's new video clip, the recently released Illusion: he has recorded it in the swimming pools Montjuïc and there she performs water acrobatics reminiscent of those of Esther Williams in the 1952 musical film The first siren although many of her followers have also seen references to Kylie Minogue in this video (who recorded the video clip for Slow) and Miley Cyrus. Dua Lipa is immersed in the promotion of her next album, Radical Optimism, which will be his third studio work and he plans to release it in May. She will soon return to Spain to present it: on July 11 she will perform at the Mad Cool festival.
