Xbox Game Pass receives another game this summer, with the announcement of the exit date Of Creatures of Avaexclusive to the Xbox console and available directly within the service catalogue, scheduled for August 7, 2024.
Announced with a trailer during the Xbox Partner Preview last March, Creatures of Ava is therefore already preparing to arrive, with the launch falling within this rich summer of Game Pass, inserted within what will probably be the first wave of titles scheduled for August 2024.
The information comes from the new trailer published by the developers, which you can see below and focuses precisely on the announcement of the release date.
A pacifist and environmentalist game
Creatures of Ava is a particular game defined as “Creature Saver”, in which we have to explore the strange planet of Ava and help creatures that populate it.
The game has a very particular characterization and a screenplay written in collaboration with Rihanna Pratchett, therefore with a narrative base that promises to be remarkable.
The title stages a entirely non-violent gameplay and focused on helping nature, trying to save the creatures on the planet from a mysterious infection that is spreading across its surface thanks to the protagonist’s abilities.
The latter is called Vic, and is capable of using a sort of Magic Flute with which he can guide the creatures and communicate with them, trying to find ways to help them in various ways and face the threats that arise on Ava’s planet.
Considering that he cannot rely on technology, the only way Vic can interact with the fauna is to rely on the local customs of the native Ava people, using a deep spiritual connection with flora and fauna to try to communicate with the creatures and save them.
