China: this is the ‘floating’ train that uses a magnetic track to propel itself

As noted Trade, from Peru, Its name is ‘Red Rail’ and its system is different from that of other elevated trains, since while traditional models use electromagnets to be able to move, this new release does so by means of permanent magnets that contain rare earth metals, raw material in which China is a power.

Another of the great advantages of this innovative means of transport is the enormous energy savings it offers, but also its great treatment of the environment. It should be noted that the train never touches the rails while it is moving, since it works suspended in the air about 10 meters above the ground.

It has two cars in which up to 88 passengers can board, its railway system is located in Xingguo, Jiangxi province, located in southern China and reaches speeds of up to 88 kilometers per hour.

The project was delivered on August 9 and although it has already been used, it is still in the experimental phase. The goal is for your track to travel at least 7.5 km and the speed of the system to increase to 120 km/h.
